Napa Kenpo
Kenpō (拳法): The word kenpō is a Japanese translation of the Chinese word “quánfa”. This term is often informally transliterated as "kempo".
In Japanese martial arts, Kenpō is used to designate Chinese martial arts, in much the same manner as “kung fu” is used in English-speaking countries.
In America, Kenpō Karate (also known as American Kenpō) comes from traditional Southern Chinese kung fu and other martial arts.
American Kenpō or Kenpō Karate is a system of martial arts which is characterized by the use of quick moves in rapid-fire succession with the intention of overwhelming an opponent.
Even to this day, Kenpō continues to be refined to work in modern day fighting scenarios.
